(Lamar, Colorado, February 24, 2012) Lamar Community College Learning Support Services awarded nearly $18,000 in scholarships to 23 well-deserving TRiO students at a dinner and reception held on February 21.  Each recipient was identified based on academic performance, participation in TRiO events, and unmet need identified on their 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The standard award for this academic year was $775.00.
