Jones to Replace Nye as Parkview Principal
Aron Jones will become the new Parkview Elementary School principal in July, replacing Diane Nye who informed the Lamar Re-2 school board of her intention to retire at the end of the school year. School board members voted unanimously in favor during a special meeting held Tuesday afternoon, February 21. Jones is the current Lamar Middle School principal. Diane Nye Retiring as Parkview Elementary Principal
Diane Nye, Parkview Elementary School President has announced her retirement, effective at the end of this school year. Her retirement and several resignations are a part of the agenda for the Lamar RE-2 School Board meeting set for 6:30pm, February 13. Lamar Re-2 School Board Certifies Student Count, 2011 Mill Levies
Board members for the Lamar RE-2 School District reviewed various finances during their Monday night meeting, December 12. Superintendent Dave Tecklenburg said the board certified the mill levy, as set by the state for Tax Year 2011, at 19.595, the same as 2010. Parkview Christmas Program at LCB
Students from the Parkview Elementary School held their annual Christmas music program last evening, December 6, at the Lamar Community Building. Parkview Retirees Honored
The Parkview Elementary School staff would like to invite the public to a reception on May 19th from 4:00-6:00 in the afternoon for three employees who are retiring. Parkview Elementary Students Involved in a Good Cover-up
Paint pans, donuts, brushes, chocolate milk, paint rollers, orange juice, drop cloths and old clothes. That was the line up for third and fourth grade student council members at Parkview Elementary School in Lamar Saturday morning, April 2.
