MEDIA RELEASE On Friday, April 20, 2012, Officers of the Lamar Police Department responded to the 900 block of S. Main St. on the report of a disturbance and a possible drug overdose.  When Officers arrived on scene they contacted Armando Stephen Hernandez, age 33, of Lamar, who was reported to have been involved in a physical confrontation with a resident of the home.  Officers also were advised that Hernandez was in possession of illegal drugs.  … Read entire article »

Colorado State Patrol For Immediate Release The Colorado State Patrol is investigating an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a Hyundai Elantra which resulted in property damage in Prowers County on July 19th. The tractor-trailer and the Hyundai were southbound on Colorado 287. The Hyundai slowed down to make a left turn at Prowers County Road F.
