Steer-Aid Clinic Teaches Youth
ROCKY FORD – Southeast Colorado youth, plus some of their parents, got a weekend education from “Stock Show University.” Youth from Cotopaxi to Holly, and Calhan to Trinidad participated in WW Feed & Supply’s Steer-Aid Clinic on June 9-10 here. Lamar FFA attends Southeast District Banquet
Lamar FFA Chapter fares extremely well at the 2012 Southeast District FFA Banquet held in Granada on April 28th. Lamar FFA Packs The House!!
The Lamar FFA Chapter packed the Lamar Community Building with over 900 spectators for the Lamar FFA Donkey Basketball game on April 5, 2012. Lamar FFA Scholarship Winners Announced
Thirty Colorado FFA members collectively received over $34,000 in FFA Scholarships this week! Congratulations to Lamar FFA member, Remington Stocking, for receiving the Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa scholarship for $1500! Applications are now available for three scholarships being offered to prospective college students in Southeast Colorado. All scholarships are given in memory of Daniel Kasza. 2011 Creed Speaking Contest

Lamar FFA Takes 19 Members to National Convention
Tours, a career show, workshops, concerts, and 45,000 FFA members. Where can all of this be found? The 84th National FFA Convention. The convention is held in Indianapolis, Indiana every year, and FFA members across the 50 states gather together.
