Weekend Highway Fatality in Bristol Area
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred July 7, 2012 on Highway 385, milepost 103 north of Bristol. A 1994 Plymouth Voyager mini-van was traveling northbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a delineator post. Colorado’s Unbuckled Deaths Rose in 2011
DENVER – Despite a continuous decline in the number of people killed in traffic crashes in Colorado over the past decade, the number of people who died without seat belts increased for the first time since 2002. Prowers Commissioners Discuss Increased Use of Highways 89 and 287 by Gas Companies
Baca County has requested permission from CDOT and the Colorado State Patrol to open highways 89 and 287 in their county, and permission from Prowers County to the transport of gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum products. Unscheduled Stop for Southbound Truckers
Lamar police officers received some OJT, on-the-job-training, this Tuesday morning, May 24. Working with members of the Colorado State Patrol, the officers were flagging southbound commercial vehicles along highway 287 and performing routine safety inspections.
