Countdown Preparations for Softball World Series
The 2011 World Series Committee toured Citizen’s Field Wednesday morning, July 6, to allocate booth and tent spaces for the ballgames this August. Locations were determined for the medical and hospitality tent, Lamar Welcome Center tent, gift table, information table and others sites. Babe Ruth Officials Inspect Citizen’s Field
“Citizen’s Field is in a lot better shape than I expected.” That was the nod of approval from Robert Faherty, Vice President-Commissioner of Babe Ruth League, Inc., as he finished inspecting the softball field at the Lamar Sports Complex Tuesday, April 12. Lamar Receives $10,000 Donation from CenturyLink
CenturyLink in Lamar finalized their $35,000 commitment to the Lamar Sports Complex Wednesday, March 23, with a check for $10,000 which will be used to purchase the remaining scoreboards at the 4-Plex.
