Freshman Karina Price from Fountain, CO led the Lamar Community College Rodeo team with a fourth place finish in Barrel Racing at the Sheridan College Rodeo in Sheridan, WY last weekend. Lamar High School senior Bailey Spitz signs his letter of intent to rodeo at Lamar Community College next fall as his parents, Cade and Stephanie Spitz, and brother, Braley, observe with LCC Rodeo Coach Fred Sherwood. Bailey is also an LCC Huddleston-Butler Presidential Scholarship recipient. Lamar FFA Earns Gold in State Competition

    From Charity Stocking Congratulations to the Lamar FFA Chapter for their recent success at the State Career Development Events held on the CSU – Ft. Collins campus this past week. The chapter participated in five events including Horse Judging, Livestock Evaluation, Floriculture, Agronomy, and Ag Mechanics.
