Maintenance Funding Sought for PCDI Washington Street Property

  The Washington Street property will be shown to a prospective business developer later this month.  Prowers County Development Incorporated Executive Director Lisa Nolder informed board members of an interested party during their June 26 monthly meeting.  Nolder said interest in the building developed from a contact she made during the annual AWEA, American Wind Energy Association trade show held in Atlanta, GA in early June.  This is the third show that Nolder has attended as PCDI … Read entire article »

Lamar Council Authorizes Letter of Support for ARPA, New Van for Library

  Lamar Mayor, Roger Stagner, signed a letter of support as requested by the City of La Junta, asking the City of Trinidad, an ARPA member, to reconsider its lawsuit against Arkansas River Power Authority. The letter also asks that efforts be made by ARPA and member cities, to find mutually acceptable solutions to the Lamar Repowering Project at this time.
