Tree Time for Lamar 5th Graders
Arbor Day was observed, Thursday, April 19, in Lamar by members of the Lamar Tree Board and a host of fifth grade students. City Council Revises Resolution Supporting PMC Expansion
Prowers Medical Center board member Candy Ruedeman provided additional information to the Lamar City Council during their Monday night work session, April 9, as they considered a resolution of support for the $5 million expansion project, providing a 13,000 square foot Outpatient Rehabilitation Center. Lamar Council Outlines Administrator Search
The Lamar City Council hopes to have a new, full-time administer hired by no later than August 27 of this year. With that deadline in mind, the council will discuss the timeline required for that result during this evening’s council work session, beginning at 6pm. Lamar City Council Revises Water & Sewer Fee Schedule
The 2011 fee schedule adopted by the city in 2010 inadvertently combined both water and sewer fees instead of separating them according to customer usage. Some water customers who don’t use city sewer facilities were being charged sewer fees.
