Rigel Briefs Utility Board on Repowering Project Progress
The Lamar Utilities Board tabled a decision on a new, four year agreement with NMPP, Nebraska Municipal Power Pool. The organization provides electricity, natural gas and related services to a host of communities in six regional states. The four year agreement with Lamar Light and Power was for, “Financial Plan, Cost of service and Rate Design Study”. Lamar FFA Scholarship Winners Announced
Thirty Colorado FFA members collectively received over $34,000 in FFA Scholarships this week! Congratulations to Lamar FFA member, Remington Stocking, for receiving the Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa scholarship for $1500! Selections were based on the applicant’s academic record, FFA and other school and community activities, supervised agricultural experience program in agricultural education and future goals.
