Colorado Employment Situation-March 2012

Employers in Colorado added 2,600 nonfarm payroll jobs from February to March for a total of 2,290,500 nonfarm payroll jobs, according to the survey of business establishments.  Private sector payroll jobs increased 2,600 and government was unchanged.  According to the survey of households, the unemployment rate was unchanged over the month at 7.8 percent. Prowers County Farm Bureau Receives Donation

Prowers County Farm Bureau Receives Donation

  Members of the Prowers County Farm Bureau were on hand as Gary Melcher was presented with a $2,500 check from the Monsanto Foundation this past Wednesday, April 18.  Melcher was selected for the Monsanto Fund’s, America’s Farmers Grow Communities.  Melcher was selected from eligible farmers from 1,245 counties in 39 states.  His check will be donated to a local non-profit organization of his choice.
