Nursing Earns National Accreditation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Lamar, Colorado, April 4, 2012) On Monday, April 2nd, the Lamar Community College Nursing Department received official notification that it has received accreditation with the National League of Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC). The NLNAC Board of Commissioners granted the program initial accreditation for five years. Dates for Kiddy Barnyard Have Been Set
Lamar FFA Kiddy Barnyard is held every spring at the LHS ag farm behind the high school and is open to all pre-schools and day cares in town. All students of Washington Elementary and Alta Vista schedule group tours each year. FFA members hope to provide exposure to agricultural education to the youth of Lamar through hands-on activities as well as a petting zoo.
