Science and Students at LCC
Several hundred elementary and middle school students put their best scientific foot forward Wednesday, March 7, at the annual Southeast Colorado Regional Science Fair held at Lamar Community College. The LCC Wellness Center was full of students, exhibits and judges who were assessing the quality of the presentations from seven area schools, from Walsh to Alta Vista, Plainview, Holly, Springfield, Wiley and Lamar Middle School. $28 Million School Project Underway in Holly
Holly School District Superintendent Carlyn Yokum got a round of cheers from the audience of school students, teachers and citizens when she told the gathering that a brand new school would be waiting for them by the fall of 2013.
