The 2012 Relay for Life Committee of Lamar is asking businesses and individuals for donations of canned goods for the Luminaria bags that line the track during Relay. After Relay the canned goods will be donated to food banks in Prowers, Baca and Kiowa counties. Lamar, COLORADO: The highly successful “Bon Appetit” class is coming to Lamar over spring-break. CSU Extension Agents Lacey Mann and Kaye Kasza have been teaching the class in Bent County and are expanding to Prowers County this year.
