Lamar School District Nominated to Apply for 25K Grant
We have been nominated to apply for a grant of up to $25000 through the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education initiative! This program is a locally focused initiative to strengthen math and science education in rural America. It is sponsored by the Monsanto fund and allows farmers to nominate a public school to compete for a grant of either $10000 or $25000. One $25000 grant will be awarded in the state of Colorado. Michael A. “Mike” Johnson…December 10, 1944 – February 9, 2012
A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Michael A. Johnson, affectionately known to many as Mike, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church officiating.
