S.E. Colorado Art Guild Autumn Art Show Results

The Southeast Colorado Art Guild Autumn Art Show was highlighted Thursday evening, October 27, during its week display at the Shore Arts Center on South Main Street in Lamar. Bev Middleton, Guild President said there were 135 entries this year from 47 artists. Lamar Chamber Honkers Visit Studio W
On Friday, October 14th, the Lamar Chamber of Commerce Honkers and Chamber Directors visited Studio W on East Olive Wynter Wollert on Friday October, 14th. Wynter’s New Business is located at 107 East Olive. Visiting Wynter was Honker Cheryl Priesser, and Chamber board members, Denise Carder, Lisa Thomas, and Axle Thurner. Economic Rural Representation Diminishing?
Some southeast Colorado representatives are fearful this area of the state will face greater economic isolation from the Front Range in months to come. Equipment Upgrades Continue at PMC, Additional Recall Forum Proposed
Four equipment upgrades were approved by the Prowers Medical Center Board of Directors, including a new telephone system. Frontier Telephone was the low bidder for a new phone system at a price not to exceed $50,000. Frontier’s bid was $45,173, and the company will provide training on the new system for the medical clinic.
