Old Icon Getting a New Look
McDonald’s restaurants across the country are getting a make-over, inside and out. Construction work on the McDonalds on North Main Street in Lamar started this past Monday, August 15, and according to owner/manager Don Snover, the lobby doors will close at midnight this Saturday and re-open at Noon on Friday, September 2. Local Partnerships Provide Funds for Vision Screening
A recent $1,000 donation from Lamar Rotary is helping the Lamar Lions Club achieve their goal to raise funds to purchase a vision screening machine. The Welch Allyn SureSight vision screen device costs $5,800 and will provide free vision screen tests for children three to six years of age in southeast Colorado.
