Lamar World Series Committee Wrapping up Final Details for Games
The Lamar 16 & Under All-Star Softball Team will be busy with four games on tap the first four days of the World Series at Citizens Field in Lamar. June 2011, Prowers County Sheriff Report
Prowers County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 318 assorted calls for service this past June, 2011. Lamar had 142, of which a fifteen were warrant arrests, two for assaults and thirty-two were jail related. Wiley had sixteen calls for service; one for theft and one for a disturbance. Clyde “Bud” Bell, Jr -/- October 28, 1917 – July 12, 2011
A Memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Clyde “Bud” Bell, Jr. was held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 9:00AM at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church Officiating.
