On June 24th, the Lamar Chamber of Commerce Honkers visited Community Insurance Agency at their new location at 201 S. 5th. Commissioners Proposing New Districts for Prowers County
New boundaries are being proposed for the three districts in Prowers County, the first time they’ve been altered in over 40 years. The 2010 national census has showed the three districts are out of population alignment. Southeast Colorado Farmers Eligible for Drought Relief Assistance
U.S. Senator Mark Udall announced on Monday, June 27, that farmers and ranchers in southeastern Colorado counties that have been hard-hit by the drought are now eligible for emergency assistance through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Earl Harper Vehicles On Loan to Transportation Museum
Family members and friends of Earl and Louise Harper of Holly, Colorado delivered a collection of vehicles to place on loan for display in the Big Timbers Transportation Museum.
