Lamar City Sales Tax Shows Increase

Lamar city sales tax revenue increased only a fraction of a percent, 0.28% for April of this year, but saw a 4.82% increase for year-to-date since January.  Total sales and use tax collections for 2011 are $1,355,187.70 compared to $1,292,901.05 for a gain over last year of $62,286.65. Finances Top the RE-2 Board Meeting Discussion

The Lamar RE-2 School Board Members discussed the preliminary budget for fiscal year, 2011-2012 during their meeting at 7:30pm, June 13.
