    PRCA gold card member and past NFR team roper John Ketcham passed away unexpectedly at his home in Wiley, Colorado, on April 16. He was 66. Prowers Medical Group announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to provide primary healthcare services to area Veterans, effective June 1st 2011. Lamar Elks Honor Area Students of the Month

Lamar/County, Losing Social Security Reps

Wednesday, May 18 is the last day for Social Security representatives to come to Lamar to assist with resident’s forms and questions. The action comes as a result of severe budget cuts in Colorado. The cutbacks have also eliminated the anticipated computer video monitor which was to be installed at the SOS Center.
