Savage Musicians ‘Top the Charts’ in State Competition
On Saturday, May 7, music students from Lamar Middle School and from Lamar High School participated in the Music In the Parks Music Festival in Denver. Both bands performed at Ralston High School. Lamar Days Spring Shootout May 13th & 14th
Plans have been completed in preparation for opening weekend at Lamar Speedway. Granada Water Restrictions Continue
Granada residents will be on water use restrictions for about two more weeks, according to the update given to the town board Wednesday, May 11. Several booster pumps short-circuited due to a water leak from a rusted flange submerging them in the pump pit. Wiley Competes in State CDEs
Sunday, May 1, nine members of the Wiley FFA Chapter traveled to Fort Collins with members of the McClave FFA Chapter to compete at the State Career Development Events. These members included Erika Ragland, Taylin Spitzer, Chris Turner, Brandon Rhuda, Kelsey Paintin, Zach Sparks, Slade Melton, Bailey Dodson, and Grady Rogers. Cinco de Mayo, Perfect Day
The weatherman was overdue to forecast a good Saturday, May 7, for this year’s Cinco de Mayo celebration in Lamar, and he came through in style for participants of the event at North Side Park.
