Cow Palace Inn Sold
The Cow Palace Inn was purchased in a public trustee foreclosure sale Wednesday, May 4, at the Prowers County Courthouse. County treasurer Lorraine Woolley conducted the sale at which only one bid was presented, from Zion’s First National Bank in Utah for $723,587. That leaves a deficiency on the property of $1,278,510.79 against Dhillon Investments, Inc. from Tracy, California, the most recent owner of the property. Decision on Four Day School Week Due May 9
The RE-2 school board of directors will hold a work session Thursday, May 5 and a general meeting on May 9, at which time a vote on a four day school week will be taken.
