“Share the Spirit” Plans Mother’s Day Dessert Tasting & Photo Contest

Share the Spirit Foundation, which sponsors shoe drives for all of southeastern Colorado school children, will be serving “Sweet SINsations” desserts on Saturday May 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..  Benefit tickets are $10 for Amache Studio and Dee’s Designs for tastings of varied dessert delectable’s.  Tickets may be purchased at the Lamar Chamber of Commerce, Dee’s Designs or from Karen Voepel, Share the Spirit Foundation spokesperson.

Regional photographers may submit photographic works on Sunday, May 1 between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Amache Studio.  Entry is $25 for three photos. Visit www.photographykv.com to download registration forms or contact Karen at 719.688.8000 or karen@cminet.net.  The show will be open for viewing and people’s choice voting Friday, May 6 at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday during the “Sweet SINsations” tasting event on Saturday.  The public is invited to view the photographs with winners posted on Sunday, May 8 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
